The Chipping Clodbury riot occurred in the town of Chipping Clodbury during a meeting between Ministry of Magic officials and the Brotherhood of Goblins.
The meeting was to discuss the creation of a Goblin Bill of Rights, but was interrupted by a group of Goblins who had obtained wands. They transfigured bins and post boxes, caused a shed and some shrubbery to explode, and chanted B.O.G slogans. Officials from the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement worked to successfully cover up the incidents from the town's Muggle population.
