The Dark Hall is a dungeon of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was built in medieval times by Salazar Slytherin, who strove to keep it secret. It is located in the Hogwarts Dungeons, "miles under the school", an antechamber, called the Corridor of Secrets, to the Chamber of Secrets. There is a big suit of armour in the room and it seems that nobody has entered the hall for centuries.[1]
