- "Babbitty hopped out of the grounds and far away, and ever after a golden statue of the washerwoman stood upon the tree stump, and no witch or wizard was ever persecuted in the kingdom again."
- —Beedle the Bard, Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump.[src]
At the close of the popular wizarding tale Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump by Beedle the Bard, a statue of Babbitty the washerwoman was erected on a tree stump (whom everyone believed was Babbitty). The statue was made of pure gold, by the "foremost sculptor in the land".
