The reading room at Gryffindor Tower is a small library area in which Gryffindors can read and study. Percy Weasley used to spend the evenings making revision in this room in his fifth year and sixth year.
A crawlspace in one of the walls (covered by the portrait of Valeria Myriadd in the 1991-1992 school year and the portrait of Oraclitus Spheer in the 1992-1993 school year) links this room to a disused bathroom.
