Gryffindor pasteboard

This board was in the Gryffindor common room. This noticeboard is where Gryffindor students can post notices and ads.

Sometimes Gryffindors post papers on the board about items that they lost, like a lost-and-found, or they can use it to see if people want to trade Chocolate Frog Cards. At the beginning of the season, the house's Quidditch captain might post a notice for when try-outs are being held, and then on upcoming games and practices. Also students could posts items they wish to sell or trade, teachers could post club information, events or other general infomation. Occasionally, although rarely, the Head of House might post warnings. In the 1995–1996 school year, High Inquisitor Dolores Umbridge posted many Educational Decrees on the board. Everyday the latest copy of The Daily Prophet and The Quibbler will be pinned to the board if any student wishes to read them.
