This birthday cake was given to Harry Potter on his eleventh birthday on 31 July 1991 by Rubeus Hagrid. It was a large, sticky chocolate cake with "Happy Birthday Harry" written on it in green icing.[1] In the early morning, Hagrid, feeling a bit peckish, said that he wouldn't say no to a bit of it, there being some leftover.[2]

- In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone:
- Dudley Dursley was given a pig's tail, as he ate the cake without Harry's permission when Hagrid threatens his father.
- The cake has green icing like in the book, but is spelled out as "Happee Birthdae Harry" and has pink frosting instead of a chocolate frosting.
- The cake as appeared in the film, while diverting from book canon, has been relatively commonly featured in merchandise and licensed books and games.[3]
- It is a selectable option for club badge in Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells.

- Tully's Coffee also sold soufflé versions of the cake during the span of the event.[16]
