The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 original motion picture soundtrack is the soundtrack to the 2010 film of the same name, based on the first part of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book by J. K. Rowling. Alexandre Desplat composed the film's score and also composed the soundtrack for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", "Julie & Julia", and the second entry in the Twilight franchise, "New Moon". Desplat follows John Williams, who scored the first three films, Patrick Doyle, who did the fourth, and Nicholas Hooper, who scored the fifth and sixth soundtracks. Desplat will compose until September. The soundtrack was released on 16 November, 2010, along with the film.

Alexandre Desplat has stated that he will use Hedwig's Theme more than in the previous movies, as he thinks it is not sufficiently used in the latest films. He will arrange it to give it another meaning, in his own words.

The soundtrack of this film went on sale in a CD format on 16 November, 2010. A Special Limited Edition of this Soundtrack with extra music, pictures, and more was released on 21 December, 2010.
