The Prowling Passage is a corridor at Hogwarts Castle. The Room of Doom is adjacent to this corridor.

Behind the scenes[]

  • This corridor can only be seen on the official Marauder's Map replica made by the Noble Collection, and on the map in The Prisoner of Azkaban film, when Harry saw Peter Pettigrew wandering Prowling Passage when he was seemingly dead.
  • "To prowl" is a verb meaning "to roam through stealthily, as in search of prey or plunder".
