King Richard I of England (8 September, 1157 – 6 April 1199) was King of England between 1189 until his death. Gregory the Smarmy allegedly made his fortune by worming his way into King Richard's confidence.[1]
Etymology[]
The name "Richard" means "brave power", derived from the Germanic elements ric "power, rule" and hard "brave, hardy".
