Oliver Wood

"It can be a bit irritating when someone asks me how the new film's coming along when I haven't worked on Harry Potter for two years. Generally speaking, I have no problem with it. Most actors go through their careers without ever being involved in something so spectacular, so I think it would be a bit ignorant of me to object to being associated with it. Harry Potter is an amazing thing. I'm not just being diplomatic here either. I'm still reminded regularly of what a unique experience it was."
Sean Biggerstaff[1]

Sean Biggerstaff (b. 15 March, 1983) portrayed Gryffindor Quidditch team Captain, Oliver Wood in the film adaptations of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He did not appear in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban due to time constraints. His character was portrayed by an unidentified actor and the role was reduced in the film. Biggerstaff reprised his role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, having been absent from the series since Chamber of Secrets.

Early lifeEdit

Biggerstaff was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He joined a local drama group and he played "Augustus Gloop" in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". He is best known for his role in three of the Harry Potter films.
