The Right Honourable Sir Thomas More, also known by Catholics as Saint Thomas More (7 February, 14786 July, 1535), was an English wizard who acted as a lawyer, social philosopher, author, statesman and noted Renaissance humanist within the Muggle world. He was an important counsellor to King Henry VIII of England, and for three years toward the end of his life he was Lord Chancellor.

He was executed for high treason after denying the validity of the Act of Succession. By the 1990s, there was a portrait of More hung at Hogwarts Castle.[1]
