The Harry Potter Compendium

This tower is located above the Upper Hall at Hogwarts Castle. The tower is only accessible via a secret passageway behind a bookshelf in the Upper Hall. The inside of the tower has a very high ceiling, with a big glass dome. A doorway leads to a terrace area with a high parapet with battlements and a flag with the Hogwarts Crest.[1]

In the 1992–1993 school year, there was a Chocolate Frog Card hidden there.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

  • No matter at what point the player enters this tower, in the terrace it is always sunset. A similar thing happens at Gilderoy Lockhart's office, where the windows always show the night sky.
