Verne Troyer was the actor who portrayed (but did not voice) Griphook in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. He did not reprise the role for the two-part film adaptations of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and was replaced by Warwick Davis[2], who also portrays Filius Flitwick in the films and voiced Griphook in the first film.

Troyer is best known for his role as "Mini-Me" in the Austin Powers movies.
