Professor Vulpus[1] was a wizard. It is unknown if he was a Muggle-born, half-blood or pure blood.

Professor Vulpus was appointed as Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry sometime before Armando Dippet.

Post-mortem[]

After his death, his portrait was hung in the Headmaster's office in order to give advice to the current Head. [2]

Etymology[]

  • The name Vulpus may come from Vulpes, the Latin word for "fox".
