King William I of England (c. 1028 - 1087), also known as William the Conqueror, was the first Norman King of England. He led the Norman conquest of England in 1066. Sometime after being crowned king, he granted Armand Malfoy a piece of land in Wiltshire for questionable services Armand had rendered him.
